In this Birds of a Feather session, discussion will center around concepts presented by Peter Lilledahl in his book Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics. It will be an active discussion time where participants who are already implementing the strategies in the text can share what they have tried, their reflections on their implementation, as well as any adaptations they have made to meet the needs of their students. This will also be a safe and open space to wrestle with colleagues around stuck points you have or troubleshooting questions. Participants, you are encouraged to bring things to share: photos of set up or student work, materials or products that are working for you, etc.
